Launch Rhyme Rag #Five

The launch of the Rhyme Rag took place last evening in no.76 John Street in the Arts Office of Kilkenny County council.

We were overwhelmed by the attendance. The place was full and buzzing with energy. Some people had arrived early and had been waiting for the event to start since 4:30 so you could feel there was big expectation.

Everyone who took part posed for the local media. At this stage the Rhyme Rags hadn’t been unveiled yet. No-one knew what they would be like.

People was settling in while the local radio KCLR was interviewing Mary and Adam.

And the event began. Mary and Adam launched the publication. All the poets who were there got to read their poems then.

Thanks for posting my picture!! I’m Red-Coat. Thanks also for creating Candy Destiny Star. I didn’t actually have a picture of her in my head, just the words, and I love your depiction. I can’t imagine her any other way.

Eleanor or just call me L.N.R.

LNR, thanks for your kind comment. It really was a special night. Everything concerning Rhyme Rag always is. Your reading of your poem really set off the night. Very dramatic!
In reference to the illustration, the image hit me the moment I read it so there is very little credit I can take… It’s all your words.
    Well done again, keep writing!
